About This Game
The Long Dark NSP is a survival adventure set in the frozen wilderness of northern Canada after a mysterious geomagnetic disaster disrupts modern technology. The story follows bush pilot Will Mackenzie, who crash-lands in the remote wilderness while transporting a mysterious passenger, Dr. Astrid Greenwood. Separated after the crash, Mackenzie must battle extreme cold, hunger, dangerous wildlife, and the harsh realities of survival as he searches for Astrid and uncovers the secrets behind the catastrophe that changed the world.
As players progress through the story, they explore abandoned towns, isolated communities, and snow-covered landscapes filled with both danger and mystery. The narrative unfolds through encounters with survivors who are struggling to adapt to the new reality, each with their own challenges and motivations. The Long Dark combines immersive storytelling with realistic survival mechanics, creating a tense and atmospheric experience where every decision matters.
