About This Game
Welcome to Switch ROMs, your platform for Nintendo Switch game ROM information and Details. On Switch-ROM.Me, you can find all the information you need before downloading Super Mario Odyssey Switch NSP ROM XCI, including game descriptions, supported ROM formats, technical specifications, and other useful information.
The game is available in NSP and/or XCI formats and can be downloaded via a custom CFW compatible Nintendo Switch console and emulators for Windows, macOS, and Android platforms. The standard ROM file size is 6.35 GB, depending on the game version or update. You can find the game ID, version, region, supported languages, required operating systems, and other technical information in the ROM specifications below.
The story begins when Bowser defeats Mario and takes his traditional hat. Mario wakes up in the Hat Kingdom, where he and Cappy become best friends and decide to rescue Peach and Tiara.
The gameplay of Odyssey is based around Mario and his special hat. You can throw your hat to attack, jump to use spring pads, throw your hat at certain enemies and control them, and transform Mario into them and gain their abilities. For example, you can become a Goomba and combine with other types. You can transform into a frog and jump incredibly high.
Odyssey follows in the footsteps of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine, offering a vast world to explore and collect various items. In each region you visit, there are Energy Moons to collect. That’s right, in this game you don’t collect Energy Stars, you only collect Energy Moons.
Unlike the Sunshine or Galaxy series, Mario Odyssey offers you a vast world to explore freely. Once you collect enough Energy Moons, you don’t have to go back to the center to get more and start over. That’s right, collect Energy Moons and stay there, have fun, and continue playing the game and exploring the world. There are over 800 Energy Moons in this game to collect.
Completing the main story in Super Mario Odyssey doesn’t take long, but that’s not a bad thing. Because once you finish the game, you’re really just getting started. Energy Moons in this series are unlocked only after you finish the game, and other surprises are revealed later.
Some of the Energy Moons in Super Mario Odyssey require you to complete certain minigames. For example, there’s a certain number of jump ropes or another minigame where you control an RC car and play a Super Mario Kart-themed game. The minigames are great, but the best part is that the game tracks your time and compares you to other players online via leaderboards.
