Metroid Prime 4: Beyond

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond NSP is an upcoming Metroid title developed by Retro Studios. Initially announced at E3 2017, development on Metroid Prime 4 was reportedly restarted by Nintendo in 2019, with Retro Studios, the developers behind the original Metroid Prime Trilogy, announced as the new team behind the helm. Seven years after the games initial announcement, we got our first look at the game, where it was officially titled Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and gave us our first glimpse at Sylux.

Confirmed to be an upcoming cross-gen title for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, the Switch 2 edition will feature improved graphics and additional control schemes. Eight years after the title was announced, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is set to release on December 4, 2025.
