Hollow Knight NSP tells the story of the adventures and discoveries of an unnamed knight in the abandoned insect kingdom of Hallownest. Critics consider it one of the most atmospheric and highest-quality platformers ever made, a new classic of the genre.
Destructoid gave it a perfect 10/10, stating, “This game comes as close to the ideal as possible. It is now a benchmark in its genre, still unbeatable; we thoroughly enjoyed its release.”
PC Gamer magazine gave it a score of 92/100, concluding, “This is a new classic of the platforming genre, with a complete and detailed world brimming with adventure and discovery.” In late 2017, the publication awarded Hollow Knight the title of “Best Platformer of the Year.” The game was a finalist at The Game Awards in the “Best Indie Debut” category. The distribution also includes the additions of “Godmaster” and “Gods & Glory” (included in the update, most recent version v196608 from November 2018).
