About This Game
Constance NSP is a hand-drawn 2D action-adventure game where you play as an artist trying to escape a colorful but broken inner world, shaped by her mental decline. With a magical paintbrush, you can move fluidly through the environment: passing through walls and floors, attacking enemies, and creatively solving puzzles. As you progress, you unlock new abilities that help you overcome challenges, defeat enemies, and further explore an interconnected world filled with secrets, upgrades, characters, and side quests.
Throughout the adventure, you must carefully manage your powers, as overusing them can corrupt your painting and have negative effects. Along the way, you collect inspiration that allows you to create sketches in your journal, improving your skills and becoming stronger with upgrades. When faced with defeat, you have two choices: continue with the consequences or return to a safe haven and explore other paths. The world reflects Constance’s inner struggles, with each area representing different aspects of her emotions, memories, and personal history. You’ll also experience interactive flashbacks that reveal her past, exploring themes such as creativity, purpose, and work-life balance.
