About This Game
GIGASWORD NSP Download Switch-ROM The game’s story revolves around a warmonger named Vearst, who obtains a magical artifact with divine powers called Gnosis. This grants its wielder great prosperity to achieve anything they desire, but it also has a dangerous downside. It corrupts the elemental Coherence of the planet, transforming humans into hideous monsters. Gnosis was once used by a cruel king, and it nearly destroyed everything. Now, in the midst of this latest incursion, only a young man named Ezra, who went from being a homeless youth to being under the tutelage of an owl-like Nocturne named Omari, has any chance of stopping it.
Because he is something called the Coherent One, and therefore the only human to retain his humanity after the calamitous transformative effects of Gnosis. There’s just one small problem: Omari dies right in front of Ezra at the beginning of the game, and Ezra is devastated and completely loses faith in himself. In fact, his lack of self-confidence is an integral part of the story and an aspect of his character that is explored in depth as you progress. As someone who also struggles with insecurity, I strongly empathized with Ezra’s situation and was glad that he found a way to keep going no matter what obstacles stood in his way.
