ALfheim Online now features Galaxia, a new mechanism that allows users to experience the past. But Galaxia goes haywire, displacing players across time and space! Kirito must work with fallen friends and rivals alike to restore the timeline. Twenty-one SAO characters from different storylines come together to fight, each with a unique purpose on the battlefield. Join one of five groups of four players each to participate in cooperative multiplayer action with a total of twenty players from around the world! Following the tradition of the SWORD ART ONLINE series, form a raid group and prepare to fight together against high-level bosses! The secret to victory lies in how well you prepare!
Mods are typically the treasure found inside these chests. You can equip a mod to your character to increase their health, critical hit chance, damage, and other stats. Mods can be gold, purple, blue, green, or white. The greatest boost is available for gold mods. Your character can only carry one mod at a time. You must drop the equipped mod to acquire another. After completing the first part, you begin the second with an objective, which is usually a large cooperative task requiring all five groups to work together on a single project. One I frequently encountered was activating a tower while the opposing team launched a large-scale attack.
